Born and raised in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Margot Thomas understands the nuances of each community across the Monterey Peninsula. She honed her real estate skills in the larger markets of Los Angeles and New York before bringing that experience back to the Central Coast. Licensed in both California and New York, she is known for her discretion, strong work ethic, and thoughtful approach to guiding clients through important decisions.

Margot works with a diverse clientele, from families and entrepreneurs to executives and individuals in the public eye, many of whom come to rely on her as a trusted advisor. A natural listener, she approaches every transaction with care and precision, recognizing that real estate is both a meaningful investment and a place to call home.

Margot also owns and manages investment properties and has hands-on experience renovating homes, with a keen eye for design, architecture, and the details that give a property its character. She is experienced in navigating the complexities of zoning, permitting, and coastal development regulations. She cares deeply about the communities she works in and takes an active interest in the civic and philanthropic efforts that help shape them.

Margot studied at UC Santa Barbara and at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she earned a Master of Arts in English with a focus on the Romantic poets. Passionate about music and the arts, she performed with the St Andrews Symphony Orchestra and maintains connections within New York and Los Angeles’s vibrant cultural communities.

Time spent living abroad has given Margot an international perspective and a global network of clients across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia. She is committed to serving her clients with integrity, discretion, and genuine care.
